Mark Jaklovsky joined IMS in 1999. His responsibilities include strategy development, identifying and implementing new business opportunities for IMS, as well as IMS clients. In this capacity, Mark has developed a number of successful strategic initiatives, including IMS Polar Design multimedia/software group that provides branding, multimedia and technology solutions. In total, these initiatives have resulted in nearly 100% annual growth in company revenues and operating income since 1999.
Prior to IMS, as an Associate with the Dealy Strategy Group LLC, Mark advised senior executives of U.S. Fortune 500 companies on e-commerce business opportunities, communications market opportunities, and he contributed to financial analyses of clients' strategic investments. Past projects include due diligence of a U.S. e-commerce provider, competitive assessment of a satellite operator's competitors and formulation of new business/strategic directions for a major U.S. aerospace manufacturer. Prior the Dealy group, Mr. Jaklovsky developed a country investment and political risk rating system while an Analyst at Eastbrokers International, a U.S./East-Central European investment bank.
Combining his broad experience a wide range of disciplines (strategic planning, marketing) and industries (satellite communications, software) developed in IMS and earlier, Mr. Jaklovsky plays an instrumental role in multi-disciplinary client projects by managing a range of activities, including local sales force development, online marketing, branding, partnership development, and translation.
Mark graduated with a B.S. in International Affairs from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in 1997 and completed Phillips Andover Academy in 1993. He is fluent in English and proficient in Russian, French, and Slovak.
