Mrs. Jaklovsky has managed IMS' financial strategy and import/export logistics since founding the company with Jozef Jaklovsky in 1986. She has managed shipping, customs and other logistical issues for IMS' clients import/export needs. Most recently, Jolana has assisted a range of US companies source high-quality, low-cost biomedical and pharmaceutical products from producers in Eastern and Central Europe. In the early 1990s, Jolana developed consumer goods sales for European clients in the United States. Finally, Mrs. Jaklovsky actively advises clients on cultural issues as they pertain to negotiated sales agreements and joint ventures.
Since its founding in 1986, Jolana has developed exceptional cross-cultural experience and understanding of the internal decision-making of key players in oil and gas, construction and heavy industries in Russia, the CIS and East-Central Europe. She advises clients in U.S., Canada, Europe and Russia on business protocol, culture, management and personnel issues. Mrs. Jaklovsky additionally has managed export logistics, such as customs, shipping and finance for clients since 1990. Mrs. Jaklovsky also possesses three years of commercial banking experience where she worked in various accounting and bookeeping positions.
Jolana received her B.S. in math and physics education at the Pedagogical Institute in Kosice, Czechoslovakia, and is fluent in Czech, Slovak and English, and proficient in Polish.
